Brent Rystrom, CEO & President

Mr. Rystrom brings over 25 years of business finance experience, including over 20 years of service as a Director of Research and Senior Financial Analyst for several prominent investment banking firms, including Piper Jaffray and Feltl & Company. From 2009 until joining RiceBran Technologies, Mr. Rystrom served as Director of Research for Feltl & Company, a regional investment banking firm headquartered in Minnesota. While at Feltl, he managed the firm's research, institutional sales, and trading departments while providing research coverage on consumer products, retail and agriculture companies ranging from micro to large capitalization. Over his 11 years of service at Piper Jaffray he was named a Wall Street Journal "Best on the Street" analyst and a "Top 10" Retailing Industry Analyst from Reuter's. Since 1997, Mr. Rystrom has also successfully acquired and managed a large portfolio of personal agricultural real estate assets, and from 2011 through 2015, he served on the Customer Advisory Board of AgStar, a $10 billion agricultural bank based in Minnesota. Mr. Rystrom holds a Degree in Business-Finance from St. Thomas University.

Todd Mitchell, Executive VP, Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Mitchell joined RiceBran Technologies with over 20 years of experience in business finance, capital markets, and public equities. Most recently Mr. Mitchell served as CFO of Park City Group, Inc., a Nasdaq-listed company that provides cloud-based supply chain management and food safety compliance software for the consumer food industry. Prior to joining Park City Group in 2015, Mr. Mitchell had a highly successful career as a Research Analyst on Wall Street, where he built a strong track record of finding and championing successful small cap growth companies and ultimately became the Director of Research for Brean Capital LLC.

Mr. Mitchell earned an MBA and a master’s degree in economics from George Washington University, and a BA from Vassar College, and is a co-owner of Unturned Stone Productions, a natural winery specializing in field blends from the Sonoma and Mendocino counties.

Eric Tompkins, Sr. VP of Business Development

Eric Tompkins comes to RBT with over 30 experience in Agricultural Commodity Processing. His career includes over 25 years with ConAgra Foods where he began his career in grain procurement/risk management, later transitioning to National Account sales, and lastly serving as Director of National Account Sales.

Most recently, Mr. Tompkins has been the President and CEO of MGI Grain Processing, LLC where he oversaw all organizational functions. MGI Grain was acquired by RiceBran Technologies in April of 2019.

Mr. Tompkins graduated from the University of Colorado with a BA in Economics and International Affairs. He received his Masters of International Management from the Thunderbird-American Graduate School of International Management.

Kevin Mosley, Sr. VP & Chief Revenue Officer

Kevin D. Mosley brings over 30 years of experience in the ingredient and finished goods segments of human and companion animal food industry. His experience includes senior positions with Frito-Lay, Hain Celestial Group, Solae, AFB International, WILD Flavors and Celanese before joining the RBT Management team.

Mr. Mosley has focused his career on developing brands and segments in the ever changing food industry. He has been instrumental in leading sales organizations through extra ordinary growth, commodity pressures, and new competitive entries.

Mr. Mosley is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a BS degree in Marketing and Advertising.

Robert DePaul, Vice President, Operations

Mr. DePaul comes to RBT with 22 years of food processing, distribution and inventory management. In addition serving nearly eleven challenging years with RBT with supply chain, procurement, logistics and operational capacities.

Mr. DePaul previously served at Plumose USA owned by Danish Crown, Copenhagen, mainly in the food service and retail meat business, last capacity as VP of Inventory and Supply Chain management.

He attended Middlesex County College for Marketing and Distribution and has experience in operating his own businesses.
