Studies have demonstrated rice bran has the same nutritional energy as corn when fed at the same rate.

Rice Bran can be utilized to supplement calves needing to make up gains. Gains have been recorded at 1.87-2.65 lbs per day on average.

Palatability improvement noted when fed as both a topdress and when mixed into the feed ration.

When mixed in silage at 10-15% rice bran improves ensilage and rumen fermentation, thus improving energy utilization
and nutrient availability.

Rice bran is a cool-energy source and does not make stock hot, as observed with other energy inputs.

Roughly 70% TDN
Improves DM and WSC level in silage as compared to forage.

Lends to better fermentation at a lower pH and produces favorable ammonium nitrogen values, improving the nutritional content of the silage.

When mixed in silage at 10-15% rice bran improves ensilage and rumen fermentation, thus improving energy utilization and nutrient availability.

Studies have shown improvement in milk production and quality when fed as part of supplementation regimen.

Rice bran is a cool-energy source and does not make stock hot, as observed with other energy inputs.

Roughly 70% TDN
Optimal performance when fed at 15-25% of body weight, and can be fed up to 30% of body weight. Utilize as a finishing aid in market and show animals for an added edge.

When mixed in silage at 10-15% rice bran improves ensilage and rumen fermentation, thus improving energy utilization and nutrient availability.

Palatability improvement when fed as both a top-dress and when mixed into the feed ration.

Studies have indicated that rice bran can be utilized to maintain condition of breeding animals during season and while lambing and kidding as it helps replenish vital nutrients, fats and proteins lost in both rams / bucks and ewes / does during these strenuous seasons.
